Rural Montana is issued the third week of each month prior to the month of publication. It is the largest circulation publication in Montana, reaching over one-third of the state’s population. Rural Montana is edited for general interest. In addition to members of Montana’s 26 rural electric systems, the Rural Montana subscription list covers approximately 80 percent of Montana’s rural telephone cooperatives and independent telephone companies.
